Master Mirsk and Master Dok exchanged glances once more. Jaq could sense them agreeing on some unspoken decision. Rising to his feet, Master Mirsk walked to the far corner of the room speaking as he turned. "Young Sytar, Rise. I wish to find out your depth of knowledge of the living Force." Obeying, Jaq rose and took a few paces, distancing himself from Master Tel. Immeadiately after turning to face him, Master Mirsk force pulled at the saber attached to his belt. Jaq felt him planning it using precognition and was quick to force pull it just as it cleared his belt. For a moment, the saber hung in the air as both of the Jedi used the Force to pull it towards themselves. Slowly it began to move towards the aging master causing the master to expose a slight smile. Changing tactics, Jaq Force sped to the saber, grabbing it and securing it in the small of his back, while rolled towards the master. Master Mirsk's smile widdened as he reversed the pull into a push, sending Jaq flying backwards. Bouncing off the wall, Jaq landed with a roll, already focused on the Master's barrage of chairs and cushions that were flying his way. Quick a smooth were his actions as his lightsaber turned a cushion into a poof of feathers that obscured Master Mirsk's view. Using Force, Jaq returned the favor, sending the cushions back at Master Mirsk with a new found precision, causing him to preform evasive manuvers. The two Masters continued to test the Padawan in the Force for two standard hours before they finally stopped, leaving Jaq extremely tired both mentally and physically. "Yousa mays gosa for nowsa." Master Dok told him as Jaq rubbed his arm. "Master Mirsk or Mesa wills callsa you when mesa need yousa." "Thank you masters." Jaq said, bowing stiffly. "Until then." Leaving, Jaq walked to a room that Arwen had shown him earlier.

Waking up from a restful sleep, Jaq opened his eyes and was startled to see Master Mirsk watching him. "Master Mirsk?" Jaq groggily said. "Peace Jaq." the Master soothed. "I just arrived a few seconds before."Thankful that the Master had not been sitting there watching him, Jaq yawned and nodded. Sitting down on a chair next to the bed, Master Mirsk asked, "Jaq, what are your plans for your future. Do you plan on joining the Jedi Order?" Pausing, Jaq cleared his throat. "Master, I have thought about this topic ever since master Fae Lang mentioned it to me. It was her desire that I go to the Order upon completion of her training and join it. Although the how was not as she had predicted, I believe it would be in my interest and the interests of the Order if I stayed." A smile slowly spread across the masters face. "Good!" he said, rising to his feet. "You will need to be in a meeting in a few hours." he said with a smile, news surprising Jaq. "Once finished there, I take you to get your standard issue of supplies." Nodding his head, Jaq acknowledged the masters orders. "Good," he said as he walked towards the door. "The meeting will be in Room 17A, Section 12. You will".....his voice trailing off. Hearing the remainder through the Force, Jaq swallowed. He had arrived.

Returning to Jaq's room, Arwen entered to find him grogglily rubbing his eyes. Laughing to herself, she said, "Wakey Wakey, Master Sytar. We have a meeting with the Masters soon, so we need to leave shortly." Looking around the room, she whispered "But, not before I take a teeny nap." as she wearily threw herself down on an empty bunk. "Hopefully its not about our intrusion into the Council meeting the other day."

Force pulling his robes to him, Jaq got up and quickly dressed, sitting back down on the bed to pull his boots on. Standing, he looked at himself in the restroom mirror and frowned. "I look old and worn," he thought to himself. "Just like my robe, with its small holes and faint blood stains." Stepping away, Jaq turned and shook Arwen awake. "Time to go, Awen. If we tarry too much longer, we'll be late. I have a feeling that this is an important meeting. One that will affect the galaxy." he said as he walked towards the door.

Rising to her feet, Awren said tiredly, "I thought you might say that." Yawning, she followed him out of the room and ignored her tired body.

Arriving at their destination, Jaq and Arwen walked into room 17A an took a seat upon one of eight cushioned chairs placed in a circle in the center of the room. Masters Dok, Mirsk, Talm, and Tiln entered shortly after, causing Jaq and Arwen to rise and bow a greeting. Shortly after the masters came in and were seated, Master Mirsk began. "Friends, as you both know, nine standard days ago the Republic declared war on a Sith and Mandalorian coalition. Since then, the Republic has been gathering a fleet to be used against them. Because of the Sith presense, the Supreme Chancellor has requested that we send a contingent of Jedi along and the Council agrees. The Council has agreed that four of our number will go, Jedi that are strong in the Force and that can work together efficently as a team." Master Tiln took over, claiming everyone's gaze. "The Council has precieved through the Force, that only four may go against the Sith. A Guardian, A Sentinel, a Consular, and a Padawan that shows promise in all skills." Master Talm continued. "Master Mels has already left instructions, that Par Dall and his Padawan learner would continue with their task. Par Dall is the Sentinel, the Rock. Strong with wisdom he is and well balanced, with strength to lead. His Padawan learner is one who has shown talent and skill in many fields. He will learn much on this mission. The boy has a strong connection with this dark lord, and eventually this will lead you to him." she finished.
Master Dok continued, looking at Arwen. "Arwen, yousa will bes da Guardian. Yousa have learned from mesa and Ia have taughta yousa to da bestes of mesa abilities. Yousa prowess with a sabre will be harda to match."
Finally, Master Mirsk turned to Jaq, as did everyone else. "Jaq Sytar, you are new to this order but not to the force. Although you have not trained by a physical being, you have shown great promise and have surpassed the Council's expectations. When we tested you, you presented yourself with confidence and with great strength and knowledge of the Living Force. The depth of knowledge that you now poccess is something that most, save Master Mels and I, have developed in the short amount of time that you have had in training under Master Fae Lang. You do not know the strength that you poccess, but you will develop it in due time. You will be the glue for this team. You will strengthen the strong and give wisdom to the wise. That knowledge has been imparted to you by your Master Fae Lang, and I believe that she watches over her student even now." "Wesa tested yousa for a reason Jaqa." Master Dok said as he took over. "And beecause of dis. Mesa am prouda to promote yousa to a Jedi Knight." Those words hit Jaq like a waterfall. His master had told him that he would become a Jedi Kinght, now he wondered if he was up the task. Standing, Master Mirsk walked over to Jaq as he sat there speakless. Handing him a small knife, Master Mirsk smiled. "Cut off your Padawan's braid, Sytar."
Rising, Jaq took the knife from the master's hand and effortless cut his braid off with the sharp knife. "Now, once we are finished here, take it to the historian." the master said as he touched the new Jedi Knight on the arm.

(Two standard days later) Having retreived his ship from the RAS Celestial after the meeting, Jaq Sytar, S3R2(drawn from inventory for his ship), and several other Jedi repair droids had the Pheonix Tail in pristine order. The hyperdrive purred like a kitten, and there was no more problems out of the thermal couplings. Looking at the ship as the droids finished with the final coat of thermal paint, he thought back on the past days. As soon as the meeting finished, he had met and talked with Par Dall and his young padawan learner. He liked Sylas immeadiately, but Par struck him as distant and cold. Arwen had laughed and said that most people think that of him upon first impression, but like tarisian ale, he gets better with time. Once he finished talking with Par, Sylas, and Arwen, Master Talm took him to the Jedi historian, where he turned in his padawan braid. The historian then froze the braid in carbonite and gave it to a droid to put into storage. Master Talm informed him that every Jedi's braid is stored in a facility connected to the archives. It was a tradition that stretched back to the days after the Jedi Civil War. Continuing, Master Talm took him to the Jedi Quartermaster to draw his Jedi Knight inventory. There he recieved a couple pair boots, a new belt, two new robes, and a room in the housing quad. Upon checking out his room and straightening it up, he, Arwen, and a padawan named Dak retrieved his ship from the RAS Celestial and brought it to a temple maintenance platform. Still not used to the temple lifestyle, Jaq retreated to the Pheonix Tail and dove headfirst into its repairs. Later, Master Tilm brought him a astermic droid, S3R2, to put on his ship along with three others to help with the repairs. They had help out a bundle, cleaning out the old worn parts and replacing them with newer upgrades. He wondered what his master, Fae Lang would have thought of her ship now, just as the last maintenance droid dried the last bit of thermal paint on the hull.

"Looks pretty." said Arwen, as she come up behind Jaq carring her travel pack. "Your ship might win a beauty contest." she laughed as she set her pack down next to her feet.

Not missing a beat, "She'll do more than that. She can win a Telosian pod race, backwards!" he countered with a grin. That comment brought a good hearty laugh from Arwen.

"At least on this trip the company won't be too boring." Arwen laughed as she walked around the ship checking on the droids handywork. She circled the ship twice and walked back to where Jaq stood grinning. "Come on ya long earred Gundar!" she said good humoredly, picking up her pack. "Par and Sylas will meet us on the RCS Juggernaunt. Jar has a thing about flying on someone else's ship. Besides, I heard that they have shipped the new C-71's and that ours are already with the fleet." she said with a mischevious look in her eye.

Looking down at S3R2, Jaq tapped the droid on its casing. "Did you hear what she called me S3?" he said in mocking horror. "BeeWhoop!" went the droid. "I know! Guess we'll just have to withstand the insults." he said shrugging his shoulders. "Whoop woooooo." replied S3R2. "Come on S3. Let's go." he said as he picked up his hydrospanner. "I understand about flying in other person's ship." Jaq said as he followed her up the ramp. "Your ship feels like home, and some people just can't get comfortable in someone elses home." A short time later, the Pheonix Tail lifted off the platform and thrusted towards RCS Juggernuant awaiting in high orbit.

"Very good, now do it against a droid," said Par. Just then, Par took a Remote and activated it. The Remote came to life and hovered in front of Sylas. Once in front of him, the Remote shot two stun shots. Par watched hoping his Padawan could deflect the shots. Sylas watched the droid slowly and focused about its many holes eventually he closed his eyes and heard as the two shots ripped through the air toward his waiting body. Raising his saber in a quick humming motion he deflected one shot sending the second flying directly on his rig cage giving him a moderate shock. Yelping out Sylas raised one hand and angrily sent the droid whizzing by his masters head scraping up against the hairs on the side of Par's scalp. As the droid went flying into the other side of the training room sylas shuttered and lowered his head.

Sylas, do not use your anger, it isn't our way, plus a trained Sith or Dark Jedi could use your anger to tempt you to the Darkside." said Par. He suddenly heard his comm, a Naval Officer requested them in the Hangar. "We will have to postpone this training until we get to the ship." stated Par, the Jedi Knight motioned for SYlas to follow him, he made his way to the hangar with his Padawan hopefully behind him. Once inside he saw two brand new starfighters of unknown model. They gleamed in the light of the day, they were both red and bore the symbols of the Republic. Par walked over to the Naval Officer standing next to the fighters. "What are those?" aked the Jedi as he pointed to the fighters. "Those Master Jedi, are your new ships C-71 Interceptors for use by the Jedi Knights. You and your Learner over there get the first two in the fleet of them, two more are being shipped to the other Jedi in the Strike Team." said the Officer. Par looked at them with excitement. He opened the cockpit and jumped in. He put on the head set and yelled for Sylas to get in the other and do the same. Par warmed up the engines and other systems, he then instructed Sylas on how to use steer and other useful things, the designs for controls were a basic one for a starfighter and Par found them easy to navigate. He got it off the ground and hoped Sylas could follow the instructions.

Still feeling a little ashamed from his ordeal in the training room Sylas followed Par to the hanger. upon arriving Sylas' eyes widened to the sight of the two ships, after listening to Par's conversation with the republic officer his face glowed with joy. Hopping into his ship and listening to the control scheme thoroughly Sylas reached forward and lowered the airtight seal around the cokpit. Pushing a few buttons and flipping switches Sylas slowly hovered off the ground next to Par. Reaching for the com Sylas placed the headband around his forehead and adjusted the speaker. ”You lead Master Par.” He then sat awaiting his masters command.

Par followed through with Sylas' reqeust and powered up his throttle. He pushed the stick forward and pulled down his cockpit seal. He zoomed with Sylas following him. He lead the boy through the small sector of city and up into a clear path into space. As he got out of the atmoshpere, Par got into sensor range of the Republic Flagship. An officer buzzed in and Par registered them both. He flew in and waited in the hangar for his apprentice.
