Zak awoke in a small hut in the Shadowlands. As he sat there meditating he started to hear rustling in the trees, he got up to see what it was. As he carefully inspected the trees, a katarn jumped out and lunged at him. He pulled out his saber it ignited with a hiss. The beast let out a yelp as Zak's yellow-green blade sliced it in half killing it instantly.

Another Katarn creature ran from the undergrowth and roared, it made a pass at the Jedi with snapping jaws and tried to eat the man's arm, the creature missed but it's tail knocked him to the ground, the Katarn got ready for another attack.

As the creature charged at Zak he pulled out his blaster and shot it in the shoulder. It let out a loud screech, zak ignited his saber and was ready for battle.The katarn recovered from it's blaster wound and circled Zak. Sudennly Zak used his force speed and slashed the creature's side it staggered but it still had some strength in it. It snapped at Zak, he dodged and plunged his saber into the monster. In need of rest he returned to his hut.

Sitting inside was a lone man his presence of the force was masked from Zak. "Hello there... That was impressive saber handling out there." He chuckled as he grabbed an apple from a basket near him and sunk his teeth into it.

Then a man creeps from the shadows, standing infront of the door blocking it. His force is masked from him aswell."What shall we do with him, milord?"

He shrugged "First of all tell me..Where did you get that saber?" He smiled looking at him with his deep inset eyes.

Zak grips his hilt, sensing the Darkside Aura emttiing from the two. It was strong.
"I found it. And who are you?" said Zak, eager to find this out.

"Oh temper temper..." The man smiled waiving his hand in front of Zak. "You have the force in you?" The same grin stayed on his face as he stood up walking closer to Zak. "Now tell me again...Where did you get that saber?"
